✅ Before the day: Please make sure your costume fee has been paid — in your portal or at the studio.
👗 What You Need to Supply
- Dance shoes — if your child needs/has them
- Borrowing tap shoes from GTW? There’ll be a tub in the last lesson — name them and place them in
- Finale costume: Anything super sparkly in a solid colour! Arrive wearing this outfit.
Hair: Give it a try at home in the morning — staff and parent helpers will tidy it up before the show. If your child needs two different styles across the show, do the one that appears first.

⏱️ Rehearsal Schedule [TBD]
We run rehearsal in backwards order to minimise costume changes — starting with ~20 min for the finale, then roughly 10 minutes per routine to get comfortable on stage, check positioning, and run the music once or twice.
[Time TBD] — Students arrive. Parents sign them in, find their dressing area, and check in with the parent helper. Lunchboxes go in the lunch area, then everyone heads to the stage for the performers’ briefing.

🅿️ Parkin
The best place to park is on Glenhuntly Rd, between Goldsmith St and Mitford St.
Shelley St and Goldsmith St have limited parking with some permit restrictions. There’s also on-street parking near Elwood Primary School on Scott St and Poets Grove — a short walk takes you along the Elster Canal path and into the school.

🙋 Parent Helpers
The sign-up sheet is on the side of the shoe shelf at the studio. We need at least one parent per class, ideally two — and helpers must have a WWC (Working with Children Check) to be backstage or in dressing rooms. Without one, you’re very welcome to wait and watch in the auditorium.
🥂 After Party
We’ll have a little sip and chat after the show — please bring a small plate to share. Soft drink, water and cordial provided.
