Once a year, our Glitterbugs step onto a proper theatre stage, under proper lights, in costumes made just for them — and perform a show their families will never forget.
No exams. No competitions. No judging. Just kids having the time of their lives, and a room full of people who adore them.
As long as the kids are having fun and the routine looks together and special — we're happy, and so are their teachers.
Every routine is choreographed to be age-appropriate and fun (they're kids, and we keep it that way). The whole school joins together for a big finale, which we start rehearsing in class during Term 4.

How the Day Runs
The theatre is booked for the whole day, so there's no rush. In the morning there's a relaxed stop-start dress rehearsal — you sign your child in, drop them off, and come back to enjoy the show.
- Morning: Sign-in and dress rehearsal
- 12:30pm: Come back to take your seat
- 1:00pm: Showtime

Costumes — We've Got It Completely Handled
This is the part parents worry about, so let us put your mind at ease. Costumes are hired through us, and we run a full Costume Hire Service. Your membership fee covers this cost. Every costume is matched to the routine, fitted to your child, and always age-appropriate.
Here's what that includes:
- Designing each costume to match your teacher's vision for the routine
- All the organising, researching, sewing, purchasing and glitterizing
- Fittings and alterations
- Transporting costumes to and from the theatre, safely and neatly
- Being there on concert day to help with every costume need
- Providing all the extras — bobby pins, hairspray, coat hangers and more
- Packing up and cleaning the costumes afterwards
Your hands are left free to clap away — without ever touching a sewing needle, or worrying that a glove got left at home.
Costume fittings happen early in Term 4. We bring the started (not-yet-finished) costumes into class to check sizing and how they move with the routine, and we'll talk through hairstyles and any shoes you'll need to supply.
Finale costume is the one thing you provide — as simple or as elaborate as you like. We set the colour scheme in Term 4.
The Little Details
Make-up: Spray tans and full make-up are absolutely not necessary. A touch of blush, lippy or mascara can stop little faces looking washed out under stage lights — but it's entirely your call.
Parent helpers: For the younger classes we'll need two parents to stay and help their child's group during rehearsals — costume changes, keeping everyone calm and happy. A sign-up sheet goes on the wall early in the term. (A Working with Children Check is required to be backstage.)
