Yes — You Get to Perform Too

The Glitterati concert is proof that the joy of being on stage doesn't have an age limit. Our adult dancers get their own glamorous, feel-good show at the theatre — and it is an absolute highlight of the year.

Bring your lollies, bring your bubbles, and enjoy every minute. It's relaxed, it's fun, and it's genuinely one of the best nights on the GTW calendar.

Sparkle from the inside — this is your stage, your moment, no pressure at all.

Each class performs one or two routines, plus the whole-school finale. The adults perform their own concert, separate from the kids — but it's still a family show, so bring everyone along to cheer you on.

✦ Studio Dress Rehearsal — the Friday the week before

The Friday evening in the week before the concert, we hold a full dress rehearsal at the studio — costume changes and all. It's your chance to run your changes, check your organisation is working, and lock in the order, so concert day is calm and nothing gets lost in the excitement. This is a fixed part of our concert lead-up every year.

Costumes — Easy and Shared

Costumes are organised within your class, and some items are borrowed from our GTW collection (these stay with us after the show).

If you're borrowing tap shoes from the studio, name them in your last class and pop them in the tub in the office — we'll bring them to the theatre with the costumes. There's tape and markers at the studio for naming.

Finale costume: The finale is the routine the whole school performs to close the night. You provide your own outfit — it's a simple colour scheme, finalised in Term 4.

The Little Details

Make-up: Spray tans and full make-up aren't necessary — but if you'd like to add a little blush, lippy or mascara to avoid looking washed out on stage, go for it. And if you want to go full glam stage make-up with false lashes? Go nuts. Your call entirely.

Professional DVD: If there's enough interest, we can arrange a professional DVD of the show — let us know if you'd like one.

The After Party

We have a lovely little sip and chat after the show. Bring a small plate of treats to share (there'll be a marked table for it), and we'll supply soft drink, water and cordial. It's the perfect way to celebrate what you've just pulled off.

You've worked hard, you've had fun, and now you get the spotlight. We can't wait to watch you shine.
