On arrival: Place your gear in your dressing room, then meet on stage for the finale rehearsal.
🎬 Rehearsal — How It Works
We don’t do a solid run-through. We stop/start, with about 10 minutes on stage per routine, run in backwards order. It’s up to you and your teacher whether you block out spacing or run it through a couple of times.
Full dress rehearsal is expected — but it’s your call. If you’ve got a lot of routines, you may feel more organised keeping your costumes arranged and ready rather than on-and-off through the rehearsal.
💡 Tip: Bring a plastic tub or open suitcase for quick changes — throw each costume in as you take it off and keep everything together.
No stress allowed! I’ve planned some audience participation for the back-to-back routines. Change quickly, but don’t fret — I can talk under water, so I’ll pad it out till you’re ready. 😄

✨ Finale Costume SPARKLES & A SOLID COLOUR
The finale is anything sparkly in a solid colour! It’s a jazz routine, so any shoes or no shoes is fine.
🅿️ Parkin
Parking is a little tricky, so allow extra time. The best place to park is on Glenhuntly Rd, between Goldsmith St and Mitford St.
Shelley St and Goldsmith St have limited parking with some permit restrictions. There’s also on-street parking near Elwood Primary School on Scott St and Poets Grove — a short walk takes you along the Elster Canal path and into the school.
