Fairy Concerts 2 to 5yrs

Week of 15th december. 

The 2 to 5 yrs classes perform an “In-House” special class in the studio  in the last class of the year at the usual time of class and do not participate in the theatre concerts. Don’t stress… It is really gorgeous and relaxed.

The theme this year is Mermaids and Magic

We have decided to keep the concert In-House/at the studio for the pre schoolers as it can be a very long, tiring and sometimes stressful event at the theatre. Our special In-House concert will give them the thrill of performing for an audience, they will feel amazing dancing in their incredible costumes, without the overwhelm of a traditional concert.

Each “In-House” Concert is just their class. The day will run close to their usual 45minute time frame. There will be 15 minutes to arrive and get into costume, approximately 20 minutes of concert and another 15 minutes for last minute photos and changing out of costume.Exact times will be posted in Term 4.

Fee: $65 (online or eftpos payment) / $60 (cash payment)
Please pay your concert fee before the 16th November.

This fee covers the HIRE of a gorgeous costume and accessories for your child, and helps cover the cost of hiring the lights and curtain, which will make it feel more theatrical for the little ones. We also hire extra staff to run the equipment and help dress the fairies backstage. There is no ticket fee or door charge for guests, you can invite as many friends and family as you like to come and watch. We will set up an audience space, with lots of extra seats.

MAKE UP AND HAIR
We will have lots of pins and elastics to tie hair and they are welcome to wear a little make up on the day, or not. Completely up to you!
Maybe some lipgloss and glitter on thier cheeks, but its not necessary.
If they have enough hair (some do not have much!) please attempt a half up half down hairstyle. We won’t be stressing you out with ballet buns or overnight rags in their hair. We have beautiful hair accessories that complement their gorgeous costumes.

You can take photos and video as they dance and they will finish with a pose at the end of the routine so you can take a group photo.

This is the most fabulous and exciting way for your child to experience the thrill of performing and we cant wait for you to watch your child perform in the most magical setting.
