Their First Time on Stage

Our littlest dancers (2–5 years) don't perform at the big theatre. Instead, they have their very own In-House Fairy Concert — right here in our Mordialloc studio, in their normal class, around their normal time. It's gorgeous, and it's designed for the most gentle introduction to performing.

Why We Keep It In-House

A traditional theatre concert can be a very long, tiring and sometimes stressful day for a little one. We wanted our fairies to feel only the wonderful parts of performing.

We power up our proper stage lights and setup a curtain and backdrop to make the studio feel magical, and we bring in extra staff to run the equipment and help dress every fairy backstage. Your child gets the real thrill of dancing for an audience, in an incredible costume — without the overwhelm.

Each In-House Concert is just their class, and runs close to the usual 45-minute window:

• 15 minutes — arrive and get into costume
• ~20 minutes — the concert
• 15 minutes — last-minute photos and changing out of costume

What's Included

Your membership covers everything: the hire of a gorgeous costume and accessories, the lights and curtain, and the extra backstage helpers. There is no ticket fee and no door charge — bring the whole family. We set up an audience space with plenty of seating.

Hair, Make-Up & Photos — The Relaxed Version

Hair: If your fairy has enough of it, two high buns or ponytails is perfect. No ballet buns, no overnight rag curls, no stress. We provide beautiful hair accessories to match each costume, plus pins and elastics on the day. Our staff can help with hair if you arent sure.

Make-up: Completely optional. A little lip gloss and some glitter on the cheeks is lovely if they'd like it — but never necessary.

Photos: Snap away! Your fairy will finish with a pose at the end of the routine, so you'll get the perfect group photo.
