On Sunday the 24th of May, many tappers of all ages and levels came together to celebrate International Tap Dancing day (25th May)! Filled with food, drinks, a Photo Booth and LOTS of glitter, everyone had a smile on their face as we stamped our feet together.

 

Our tap classes have been learning the “Shim Sham”, a nationally known tap dance the past few weeks. We went through each speed, starting with super slow and ending with super fast! Whose else’s ankles are sore after all of that tapping?

 

We of course had to glitter our faces in sparkly colours, and some of us glitterised our shoes too! We can’t wait to slip on our shiny shoes once they set and continue dancing.
