Adult Show: Dusk Till Dawn

Rehearsal starts at 3:00pm, please arrive before this and place your gear in your dressing room and meet on the stage for finale rehearsal.
It is expected to be a full dress rehearsal, though I will leave it up to you if you do, some of you have so many routines you may feel more organised having your costumes arranged ready for show instead of having them on and off quickly through the rehearsal.
I recommend a plastic tub or open suitcase for those with quick changes, as you take off your costumes you can throw them in the tub and keep everything together.

As a PS at the bottom of this page is the costume list and where each part is found- some accessories and items are used in the kids show so will already be at the theatre.

 

Rehearsals:

we dont do a solid run through, we stop/start and each routine has 10 minutes on stage. It is up to you and your teacher if you need a few minutes to block out your spacing or if you prefer to run it through a couple of times. We run rehearsal in backwards order.

I have some audience participation activities planned for those routines where students are back to back. No stress allowed! change quickly, but dont fret. I can talk under water so I will pad it out till you are ready.

Finale

is Black and Gold. a touch of colour is fine if you have a shirt with a print on it. sparkly is even better! its a ‘jazz’ routine so any or no shoes is fine.

Parking

is a bit tricky, the best place to park is on glenhuntly rd, from goldsmith st to mitford st.

shelley st and goldsmith st have limited parking with some permit restrictions, and there is on street parking near elwood primary school on scott st and poets grove, a short walk can take you to elster canal path and enter the school.
