What to wear to Fairy Ballet, Fairy Tap and Fairy Jazz –
Your Fairy can wear their favourite fairy dress, a ballet outfit or something outrageously frou frou, something they feel pretty and comfy in.
What shoes to wear for Fairy Ballet and Fairy Jazz –
Ballet shoes or bare feet. In winter we suggest ballet shoes as their feet get quite cold. (Canvas shoes are available from Energetiks and are very reasonable)

PLEASE NO JIFFIES. They are very slippery, they do not hug the foot.

What shoes to wear for Fairy Tap –
Tap shoes or shoes that stay on their feet like a little school shoe or sandal -Barbie mules may sound nice and tappy but will fall off their feet!

Tan coloured tap shoes are easier to glitterize!

What to wear for Giggle Ballet, Glittery Tap and Funky Jazz –
We quite like a leotard with tights and a wrap around skirt! As we can see what their bodies are doing. A slim fitting tee-shirt and leggings is also perfect but they need to feel comfortable in what they are wearing, they also need to be able to stretch and get hot, so a thick wooly jumper and a tunic or jeans are is probably a no-no!

What shoes to wear for Giggle Ballet and Funky Jazz –
Ballet shoes, jazz shoes or bare feet. In winter we suggest ballet & jazz shoes as their feet get quite cold.
Please don’t wear muddy and dirty sneakers into your dance class, bring a nice clean pair of shoes to keep our floor lovely, white soul if possible!

Older Kids and Adults

What to wear for Glittery Tap Dancing –
Anything comfy and/or glamorous!
A skirt and tights or 3/4 pants are both perfect.
(Long skirts or long flared pants make it hard to see feet)
A tee shirt is good on top so that you can get hot.

Wearing a jumper with nothing underneath will definitely make you swelter!

What shoes to wear Glittery Tap Dancing –
You don’t need tap shoes to begin.
Shoes that don’t grip too much like a leather or synthetic soled shoe is best.
The Shoes also need to stay on your feet and not be too flimsy. (Thongs are not so good!)
It is best to try out a class first before buying the shoes and see if it is for you!
Then once you are keen, you can rush out and buy the shoes!

You are gonna love it!! Especially when you have Glitterized your shoes! (Tan shoes are far easier to Glitterize!)

What to wear for Funky Jazz, Hip Hop and anything Funky! –
Something comfy that they/you can move well and get hot in.
Track pants or 3/4 pants and a tee shirt.
Please no Jeans as they get too hot and don’t stretch.

What shoes to wear for Funky Jazz, Hip Hop and anything Funky! –
Sneakers are fine, but if you are super keen, the Jazz sneaker is great to dance in.
Please don’t wear muddy and dirty sneakers into your dance class, bring a nice clean pair of shoes to keep our floor lovely, white sole if possible!
