School-Age Glittery Tap
(Ages 5yrs and over) Tap dancing steps and technique are taught to pop and eclectic music in a fun environment. The class has activities and uses props which keeps them focused and have fun whilst they are learning.
We will start with an anklewarm up at the barre or in our circle, moving on to tap steps at the barre or in the circle and across the room. The older kids will be challenged a little more but still have fun. As their skills improve, so does the intensity of the class.
Each class is tailored to the age and ability of the class and will learn more complex tap dancing steps, rhythms and techniques, as they progress. Starting with tap warm ups, combinations, corner to corner and a routine to finish. The 5-7 yrs class will use a small amount of props to help keep them focused and have fun whilst learning.
