Terms and Conditions:
These are special terms and conditions for Term 3, 2020 as a COVID 19 special term which included the Term 3 only Pay-What-You-Can promotion.
Your Membership Fee payment is deemed to be acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Full fees due must be paid before attending any class.
Prior to term, only Full Term bookings can be made. To secure your spot in the class, you must pay in full or “Pay What You Can”.
Online enrolments are not complete until a payment is made.
TRIAL CLASSES – Trial Classes are $50 for 2 consecutive classes NON REFUNDABLE. At that time the remainder of normal terms fees are applied to your account and must be paid in full by the end of the trial unless you instruct us that you do not wish to continue within 24 hours of the 2nd class, then these fees are deleted. Note “buy out” fees apply if joint GTW after Week 3 of term. Trials are non-refundable. If you wish to continue after the trial, the remainder of term fees are NON REFUNDABLE. Trial Classes are included in Pay What You Can.
If you miss a class, you are able to do three make-up classes per term. Make-up classes must be booked in and completed within the same term as your absence. Booked makeup classes cannot be rebooked if missed. No refunds or discounts or credits are given for missed classes for any reason. Makeup class may or may not be with the same teacher as your usual class.
If after 2 classes of the same class in the first two weeks of term you choose not to stay with GTW we offer a full refund (less $50 non-refundable deposit) and notification must be done by email within 24 hours of the 2nd class. If you “Paid What You Could” the remaining fees will be paid pro-rata. Fees are otherwise non-refundable. Class change is permissible. Term fees cannot be rolled over to next term. Fees are not refundable nor transferable between students, family members, classes or terms.
Pro-Rata Refunds upon notification from us or you will be given if the program is canceled or the law requires us to refund the fee.
We do not refund absences. No refunds/credits are given to for dancers missing classes, missed classes due to vacation, holidays and/or days off from school or non-participation of class.
Refunds cannot be given for Holiday Programs.
Refunds can be given for “Glitterisation” classes 24 hours in advance by email notification.
Refunds cannot be given for Fairy Concert Fees.
Credit Card fees cannot be refunded if fee paid through the Dance Pro portal.
When enrolling, the normal term fees will be applied to your booking. At check out, you can choose what you can afford to pay or pay the full fee. The remainder (if relevant) will be deducted.
We must adhere to 100% attendance for Pay What You Can classes. If you miss a class and do not inform us before hand you will be taken out of the class.
It is the responsibility of the participant’s parent or guardian to seek appropriate medical approval regarding any pre-existing condition and to disclose any such condition to Glittery Tapping Wonderland before booking. Glittery Tapping Wonderland and its representatives accept no liability arising from the medical condition of any participant.
The dance styles offered are the dance styles available at the appointed dance location and are subject to the dance teachers’ discretion with regard to suitability in terms of age, sex, ability, and experience.
The participant may be excluded from the dance classes in the event of inappropriate behavior and any form of bullying. This includes viewing or participating parents who talk throughout the lesson.
If we cancel your dance class due to any reason, we will tell you as soon as possible, and do our very best to offer an alternative class. We reserve the right to cancel your class at short notice and re-book you. We reserve the right to reschedule the timings or location of any class owing to the unavailability of the activity, insufficient numbers making the activity unavailable, and other factors beyond our control. Substitute Dance Teachers may be required from time to time due to factors beyond our control.
Classes need six (6) full term students to begin and then after 3 weeks, seven (7) full term students to continue that class. We reserve the right to cancel classes that have low numbers and will endeavour to find a suitable running class for the students to continue or merge classes to make up the numbers. If you are not happy with the class change and wish to discontinue attendance a 100% pro-rata refund will be given.
Casual Classes are NOT available for child classes.
Casual Classes are permitted in Adults classes.
GLITTERY TAPPING WONDERLAND will communicate with you primarily by email and you consent to receive information from us via email. We will not provide your details to any other company, entity or organisation and all information will be kept by us in accordance with The Privacy Act.
We will use its best endeavours to ensure that all communications are virus-free, however, we are not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by you in the event that a virus or like issue is transmitted unknowingly by us.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN
All employees, contractors, sub-contractors of Glittery Tapping Wonderland have a working with children certificate as required by relevant legislation from time to time.
DROP OFF/PICK UP
An adult must bring children into the class, you must notify the teacher if you are leaving and when you pick up the child. Children cannot wait outside the studio for pick up.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Australian law.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this page. Your continued attendance after any such changes are updated constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions. You are responsible for keeping yourself updated on any changes.
Dance classes can involve the risk of personal injury. While GTW takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes; it accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the dance studio. You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally fit for the class and during the class, you must at all times take care of your own personal safety. Child students are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian when at The Space. By attending classes on our timetable you agree to these Terms and Conditions
Videos and photographs are permitted to be taken in the studio. At all end of year concerts, Videos and photographs will be taken.
