MEMBERSHIP FEES – Membership Fee payment is deemed to be acceptance of our terms and conditions.
An Early Bird term fee applies only for full term upfront payments up until the last day of the previous term. After this date, the normal full term fee applies.
A multi child or multi class discount applies up until the end of the first week of term and must be paid in full to receive the discount by that time.
The Term Fee membership needs to be paid in full by the 3rd week of Term otherwise $10 late fee will added to the balance of Term fees.
If fees are not paid by the end of week 5, week 8 and week 10, $10 fee will be added at each of these weeks.
If you join GTW within the first three weeks of term you must pay the full term price and take available make up classes. These make up classes are not applied to your make up class allotment of 3 per term.
If you are joining Glittery Tapping Wonderland after the term has begun and after week three you must “buy out” the remainder of the term in full at $20 per class ($21.50 for one hour classes) to secure your spot in the class OR pay the Full Term Fee and choose make up classes too bring your attendance to full term. These make up classes are not applied to your make up class allotment of 3 per term.
Prior to term, only Full Term bookings can be made. To secure your spot in the class, you must pay in full.
Online enrolments are not complete until full payment is made.
TRIAL CLASSES – Trial Classes are $50 for 2 consecutive classes – at that time the remainder of normal terms fees are applied to your account and must be paid in full by the end of the trial unless you instruct us that you do not wish to continue, then these fees are deleted. Trials are non refundable. If you wish to continue after the trial, the remainder of term fees are NON REFUNDABLE.
MAKE UP CLASSES – If you or your child are unwell and can’t make a class, you are able to do up to 3 make-up classes per term. This is your allotment per term.
Make-up classes must be booked in and completed within the same term as your absence.
Booked make up classes cannot be re booked.
No refunds or discounts or credits or roll over fees are given for missed classes for any reason.
REFUND POLICY – If after 2 weeks you choose not to stay with GTW we offer a full refund (less $40 non refundable deposit) and notification must be done by email by that time. Fees are otherwise non refundable. Class change is permissible. Term fees cannot be rolled over to next term.
Pro Rata Refunds upon notification from us or you, will be given if the program is cancelled or the law requires us to refund the fee.
We do not refund absences. No refunds/credits are given to for dancers missing classes, missed classes due to vacation, holidays and/or days off from school or non participation of class.
Refunds cannot be given for Holiday Programs.
Refunds cannot be given for Fairy Concert Fees.
Refunds can only be given for “Glitterization Workshop” 24 hours in advance by email notification.
Under some hardship conditions at our discretion, a refund can be given with a $10 refund fee applied.
MEDICAL CONDITION – It is the responsibility of the participant’s parent or guardian to seek appropriate medical approval regarding any pre-existing condition and to disclose any such condition to Glittery Tapping Wonderland before booking.
Glittery Tapping Wonderland and its representatives accept no liability arising from the medical condition of any participant.
CLASSES – The dance styles offered are the dance styles available at the appointed dance location and are subject the dance teachers discretion with regard to suitability in terms of age, sex, ability and experience.
The participant may be excluded from the dance classes in the event of inappropriate behaviour and any form of bullying. This includes viewing or participating parents who talk throughout the lesson.
If we cancel your dance class due to any reason, we will tell you as soon as possible, and do our very best to offer an alternative class.
We reserve the right to cancel your class at short notice and re-schedule your class.
We reserve the right to reschedule the timings or location of any class owing to unavailability of the activity, insufficient numbers making the activity unavailable, and other factors beyond our control. Substitute Dance Teachers maybe required from time to time due to factors beyond our control.
Classes need four (4) full term students to begin and then after 3 weeks, six (6) full term students to continue that class. We reserve the right to cancel classes that have low numbers and will endeavour to find a suitable running class for the students to continue or merge classes to make up the numbers.
If you are not happy with the class change and wish to discontinue attendance a 100% pro rata refund will be given.
We reserve the right to move a student from a class into an age or level appropriate class if deemed necessary.
CASUAL CLASSES – Casual Classes are NOT available for child classes and only available for Adult classes.
COMMUNICATION – Glittery Tapping Wonderland will communicate with you primarily by email and you consent to receive information from us via email.
We will not provide your details to any other company, entity or organisation and all information will be kept by us in accordance with The Privacy Act.
We will use its best endeavours to ensure that all communications are virus free, however, we are not responsible for any loss of damage suffered by you in the event that a virus or like issue is transmitted unknowingly by us.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN – All employees, contractors, sub-contractors of Glittery Tapping Wonderland have a working with children certificate as required by relevant legislation from time to time.
DROP OFF/PICK UP – An adult must bring children into the class, you must notify the teacher if you are leaving and when you pick up the child. Children cannot wait outside the studio for pick up.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Australian law.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this page.
Your continued attendance after any such changes are updated constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
You are responsible for keeping yourself updated on any changes.
