Здравствуйте! (Translation… Hello in Russian!) O glamorous One!
Зима (Winter) has arrived and its time to start заглатывать (swallowing) copious amounts of vitamin D!
If your child is unwell or are going to miss a class we are happy for you to do a make-up class.
In fact we prefer you keep your child home if they are unwell, this helps keep bugs out of the studio and your gracious teachers healthy!
Please book in for the make-up session, if you arrive to a class without us knowing, there maybe several children also having their make-up session on the same day/time.
This can cause chaos and may result in having 14 children in a class. Way toooooo crazy!
For the Glen Huntly Studio please call Miss Darling Heart (0423 095 590)
For the Northcote Studio please call Miss Lollipop (0423 095 855)
For the Mordialloc Studio please call Miss Twinkle Toes (0420 356 232)
PRIOR to the class so we can work out where you can fit in.
Make-up classes must be made up within the same term.
If we are not notified we cannot offer a make-up class.
Mums area Glen Huntly Studio
We ask that Mums watch their children dance from the mums area. The middle room is nice and warm, has toys to keep siblings amused and you can see you fairies dance through the window.
When you and/or siblings are in the room, your child and other children are distracted.
This makes it difficult for the teacher and it is unfair on the other families who are sitting out of the room.
At our St Kilda studio, we always struggled with noisy parents, siblings in the studio and keeping the children focused without their teacher growing nodules on their vocal chords.
Now that we have a wonderful place with windows and easy access to your child we ask that you stay in the mums area.
We offer a nurturing space for families to feel relaxed and comfortable and we do not shut you out of view.
If your child is used to you being in the room, it may take a little time for them to adjust, but they will and you will see that they will get so much more from their class.
Our 2-year-old fairies may need their mummies with them as they are so little, but we ask for you to be quiet in the classroom.
Glen Huntly Studio – FRIDAY THE 25th OF MAY 4.00pm

Northcote Studio – SATURDAY THE 2nd OF June 2.00pm
Each term we have a Glitterization workshop so that you can make those drab ol’ beige tap shoes become exceedingly fabulous!
(Glittery shoes are not compulsory but make you dance o-so-much better!)
-Cost – $20 – To be pre-paid.
-You need to bring along your Dance shoes
and 3 vials of glitter.
You can purchase glitter at Sam’s Warehouse, the Value Craft glitter is very good for Glitterizing your shoes.
Spotlight’s glitter is a bit dodgy and seems to fall off!
If you are going for, say, a pink glittery shoe, it can look fabulous with some opal or holographic silver mixed in.
It’s good to have some course glitter and some fine glitter in the mix.
If you are going for a primary colour like red or aqua, stick with the one colour glitter, as it will look insanely extraordinary!
Jaggered glitter also tends to fall off and looks a little nasty.
Please try not to stress too much over your glitter purchase, maybe give Miss Lou Lou a call to guide you through!

Dear Dr. Lottie,
My husband has just lost his job.
Apart from loss of income, I am faced with a dilemma that I am hoping you can help me with. I now have my husband at home 24/7. Apart from him rushing to the phone each time it rings, him hanging around bored all day, making snacks and leaving a mess, he has delighted in the fact that having our children away at school all day he can have his way with me whenever he chooses.
I am an exhausted mess!
What can I do?
Signed Fleeing and Flustered.
Dear Fleeing and Flustered,
It appears that you are mere prey for the eternal hungry beast that lies within the depths of your husband’s requirements.
By no means should you allow this to continue, as there will be no food on the table and no roof over your head.
A man’s role in life is to work all week long to support his family.
On conclusion of this 6-day period (if he is lucky) he may or may not receive some gratification.
To expect unwarranted jiggy jiggy without the production of any such effort is immoral.
When the Professor retired, I immediately changed the locks on the door and he has remained in the garden shed ever since.
My suggestion to you is to remove his house key from his key ring, have his lunch packed along with the children’s and subsequent to school drop off will be unable to renter the residence or anything else in his way.
Other than that, you could try two crushed sleeping tablets in his morning coffee.
Thank you for your pursued letter.
Thanks for reading! Love Miss Lou Lou xxx
